i'm thankful we didn't have to work today. i'm thankful that though it was below freezing, we went on a long walk into town. i'm thankful that we have warm coats and hats and gloves and it wasn't very windy and the sun was out and bright the whole time. i'm thankful that we got to walk through neighborhoods we lived in, streets we used to walk up and down constantly but now never do. i'm thankful that we went to the good thai restaurant for lunch and for the lovely brightness of phaenang curry. i'm thankful to have been warm and with a full belly for our walk home. i'm thankful that though most of the leaves have fallen, some are still hanging in there.
