Inspired By #4
Hi!
Welcome to the 4th issue of Inspired By. I saw a lot of nice things this week. Let me tell you about it...
— JP
🕴 Termina
"Amongst the landscape of geometrics, Termina breaks the norm with its generously wide letterforms. The various uses can range from advertising to logotype—from small descriptors to pull quotes. The family’s high x-height and wide letterforms help retain legibility and readability at smaller sizes." See it in use at the 🔝 of this issue.
🦄 ONWARD
"Set in a suburban fantasy world, Disney and Pixar’s “Onward” introduces two teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there." Can. Not. Wait! (March, 2020)

🎥 The Irishman
I can't wait to see the next Martin Scorcese movie. Starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci, this will be an epic saga of organized crime in post-war America. Coming to theaters and Netflix in November!

It's Nice That interviews illustrator Christoph Nieman, who you might now from Abstract, the Netflix documentary. He has a nice instagramfeed too. (via Halfvet)

“It’s like you’re a doctor in an emergency room”: Christoph Niemann in conversation with It’s Nice That
The illustrator and artist talks us through his creative routines, how his children see his work, and why creating art is a bit like moving house – “you always forget how painful it is.”

📕 Some Stories: Lessons from the Edge of Business and Sport
The founder of outdoor-brand Patagonia – Yvon Chouinard – has another book out! It's full of personal stories, essays and life lessons and thoughts on the state of the world, economy, and environment. I already read and loved "Let My People Go Surfing" so this one is added to my readinglist.

📺 Big Little Lies
Another one of my favourite series, very funny but also disturbing, starring Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, and Shailene Woodley. The story revolves around a group of women who are emotionally troubled and are suddenly involved in a murder case investigation.
🎧 Michael Kiwanuka
And that excellent HBO-show has this song “Cold Little Heart” as opening-theme. His new album is out Nov 1st, here’s the first single "You Ain't The Problem":
That’s all for the 4th issue of Inspired By. Hope you liked it and see you next time! ✌️
