📸 Peter McKinnon's Bucket Shot
I came across this video by Peter McKinnon, a Youtuber with 4.25M subscribers 🧐) that teaches things about photography and cinematography.
I’m usually a little allergic to "influencer"-types with the clickbait titles and reaction thumbnails, but his content is actually really nice. (and a little over the top... 🤷♂️)
In this video, Peter tells the story of his life journey to shooting the photo of his dreams: Moraine Lake in Canada’s Banff National Park during winter with the water still liquid and blue.

🇨🇦 Wild West Canada Special
And talking about Canada, this edition of Wide Oyster, an online travel magazine, Marco Barneveld explores Edmonton’s ‘Urban Jungle’ together with photographer René Koster, and skis on Sunshine’s famous slopes in Banff National Park. Frits Meyst travels off the beaten track in a 4x4 camper in search of unknown gems on Vancouver Island.

The blog that's been posting inspiration since 2007 has a new look. It's nice and tight, but I'm not a fan of the quirky headline typeface they choose, with tilting and rotation that makes it feel like it’s toppling over itself...🤨
