🥾 Trails of Life: A Continental Divide Trail Journey
After his journey on the Pacific Crest Trail in 2023 Titouan made an incredible film about it. And now he returns to the wilderness, this time he hiked Continental Divide Trail and made an even more impressive film. And he did it all by himself, incredible.
🤔 HBO Logo mistake, who cares?
This short dives into the backlash James Barnard got for pointing out a misalignment in the HBO logo. People dismissed it as “optical alignment,” but then Gerard Huerta, the designer of the original HBO logo (and the iconic AC/DC logo!), reached out:

A talk about the messy middle of brand building by Mike & Chara from Smith & Diction. They gave a look into the many different types of creative moves that might go into a distinctive brand library.
Even if you’re not a brand designer (I’m not either), it’s a still great reminder to approach your work with curiosity and craft.
And I loved their take on AI too: not as a shortcut, but as a way to explore new creative territory. 🙌🏻

Such a big, blocky and fun font! It includes italics, stylistic alternates and even 3d shades you can play around with.
I love how the micro site is so colorful and has so many nice hover effects and it even includes a working calculator.
