Hello, wonderful subscribers!

Wow, what a rollout week it was for The Last Temptation of Beck! Exhausting, but delightful. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has bought the book so far!!!! Everyone else, please get on that now!!!

But today, I come to you to focus on something else: something related but separate, something that is a true work of art, something I’m very proud to have assembled/produced, and something I think you will rock out to.

That thing is… the OFFICIAL SOUNDTRACK ALBUM for my new book! It’s called Loser Babies: Music Inspired by Josephine Riesman’s “The Last Temptation of Beck” — and it’s available for streaming and purchase (including in a limited-run cassette edition!) right now! All proceeds go to the amazing LGBTQ+ aid organization Haus of Codec.

To learn more and buy, check out the AMAZING retro-90s custom website that my research assistant made for the book! (BTW, if you need a great comms person to do promo like this, or an archivist to help you research, let me know and I’ll link you up with this person.) A little preview is in order:

Come one, come all, and learn about the album and how it was put together! Then buy it and support a great nonprofit that helps trans youth find housing!

Be well, and rock on.

J
