Joseph Zitt's [as if in dreams] 2026-03-06
Other than a couple of alerts this morning, the day is relatively quiet. In the evening, once Shabbat starts, we have three, about an hour apart. The Iranians and Hezbollah aren't hitting much. They're just timing their attacks to be as annoying as possible.
While the dogs who come to our shelter seem to tolerate each other, one set the rest to barking tonight. It's the smallest of the dogs, about the size of a fuzzy Pringles can with legs. Tonight, its owners had put a leopard-print sweater on it. Apparently the dogs in the shelter had set a dress code, and the little one didn't comply.
Sitting down to write this too late in the evening, I find that I'm exhausted. More tomorrow. Shabbat shalom.
