Joseph Zitt's [as if in dreams] 2026-03-04
The breakfast and supper cart rattles down the hall at about 9 AM. Some of the same staffers guide it, but without the fuzzy headbands this time. Purim is over. (Except in Tzfat. And Jerusalem. It's complicated.)
There's already been one alert this morning, at a little before six. We went down. We waited. We came back up. Some of us went back to bed.
The day's been relatively quiet, except for one point where there were three alerts and one alarm within a single hour. Apparently the Iranians and Hezbollah had both thrown missiles at us at the same time.
It's been a day for catching up. A lot of us are catching up on sleep.
Last night, we had an alarm just as I hit "Publish" for the newsletter. We'll see how tonight goes.
