Become the leader only you can be
Next week starts Power Shift, a 10-week leadership program for people who want to stand out—not burn out.
Next week, Power Shift.
It’s a group coaching program that starts next week—I’m lucky and grateful to be able to join through a scholarship seat. To say I’m excited to join would be an understatement.
It’s 10-weeks of live masterclasses, coaching sessions, self-guided modules, workbooks, and even a StrengthsFinder report put on by and of Active Voice. I had a taste of what it could be like with their micro-retreat in early August, Flip the Script. And—it’s going to be good.
For you to get a taste, here’s some of the week schedules:
W1 — Start your power shift; Your self, your work
W2 — Own your value; Your values and vision
W3 — Claim your strengths; Create your platform
W4 — Take up space; Stress, fear, and you
W5 — Tune into your body; Reframe your worth
W6 — Get unstuck; Know your boundaries
W7 — Find your full voice; Speak up for yourself
W8 — Be heard; Stretch yourself
W9 — Shift forward
W10 — Keep up the momentum
What do I want to get out of this program?
This is the prompting question that I need to respond to by the end of this week—to help get a better idea of goals for the program and customizing the experience.
It’s been a constant thought since I received the survey a week or two ago.
The past few years have been one of continuous searching. Searching for jobs. Searching for titles. Searching for something that I could hold onto that could move me forward in some sort of employment.
Answering the question isn’t the purpose of this post, but it is something I need to respond—so by writing about the question and needing to answer, I’ll find the answer privately.
Trust the process
I’ve come back to this aphorism over and over again as I’ve built this design system for my client. It may feel like I’m designing the same buttons over and over, but it’s not.
Each iteration refines, focuses, and prompts different questions.
That’s what this will be: trusting the process and go with it—make the most of the gift & time to be able to go through it.
My first group coaching
I’ve been interested in developing my own Coaching, Workshop, and Teaching practices for a long while now—in addition to writing books. They go hand-in-hand to a large extent, at least from a eco-systemic content-marketing perspective.
I’m excited to experience what it’s like and the conversations that will spark and ignite with all the facilitaters and other program participants.
Not only is it group-wise, it’s also with others that want to be there.
Last day to sign up
If you’d like to join or are interested in it, tomorrow—September 6th, 2024—is the last day to sign up for the last Power Shift Cohort of the year.
If your interest is piqued, there’s some more to satiate:
