A story of my new favorite website
It's what the internet used-to, still-is, and could become again
It’s a shared joke in the Design Industry about the challenge it is to design & build your own website. There are multiple dimensions to the plight, but I think it stems from negotiating the past, present, and future of how one presents themselves on the internet.
For me, it’s kept along the lines of “I have a broad set of skills that I’m trying to package for jobs & gigs, but haven’t found the focused niche yet” mixed with a healthy dose of “how do I tell my story…and what’s even my story to begin with?”
Context of my website
One of my personal branding goals is to align the digital with the physical, searching to balance patinas of use when the canvas doesn’t age. I want to bring that hand-made quality to a hand-crafted website…even if its crafted by hands via keyboard.
