Lullaby Language

Known Unknowns

Lullaby Language are words used to lull you into a sense of complacency when requirements aren't clear. Gerald M. Weinberg coined the phrase.

  • Anything

  • Just

  • Only

  • Simply

  • Should

  • Soon

  • Very

Ultimately these words gloss over an assumption or minimize the complexity of a solution.

We must seek clarification when we see them.
