Hello from Warsaw!

I’ll write and publish a full diary of my trip to Poland in the new year, I think (less than a day in, I’ve met so many people and it’s all been very exciting), but for now: I arrived just in time for the opening of a group of incredible exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art. (Below, a Leonor Antunes work in the Julia Bryan Wilson-curated section!) Before I left New York, TCT published David Rimanelli’s latest (on Alex Katz and Matthew Barney at Gladstone), and Cultured posted an IG video accompaniment by Paloma Baygual (starring Cookie, really) of me touring the four shows featured in my Chelsea round-up. Also, here’s a little more info about the NADA Miami panel I mentioned. (I will let you know when the Morgan posts the recording of the Lisa Yuskavage event. It was funny to leave directly from that for the airport, and, just 12 hours later, stand before one of Lisa’s paintings in Warsaw. It’s in “The Woman Question, 1550–2025” curated by Alison M. Gingeras!) x

People milling about at an opening in the Musuem of Modern Art in Warsaw. White walls and marble floors. Hanging tubular forms strung with black rope are suspended from the ceiling, and semi-transparent/mirrored free-standing folding partion occupies the left side side of image.
