Flamingo #26 (27/01/21)
The first Flamingo show of 2021 is dedicated to the listening habits of my late teens and early 20s. Made during the second lockdown in Lisbon, it's a companion piece to May 2020's show, recorded during the first lockdown. It's been a chance to raid my CD collection and revisit the songs I was attached to half a lifetime ago.
While there is still a strong focus on the more downbeat and ethereal side of things (ambient, post-rock, electronica and folk), this time round there are also forays into indie, dance punk and even a bit of rocking out.
