DJ Doggo Mix & EP
To mark the full release of the latest Welt Discos release, a split EP by Diogo and DJ Doggo, the latter was my guest on the most recent episode of my residency on Kiosk Outsiders.
As DJ Doggo’s bio says:
The story of DJ Doggo — half-man half-mutt — started one sultry night down by the bay, the moon full over the water, humidity thick in the air. A chance encounter in a dark alleyway, a lycanthropic liaison, and soon out of the shadows the young pup emerged into the light. Raised on a strict diet of swung party grooves and UKG, now DJ Doggo brings his mongrel take on this sound to the world. He’s ready, are you?
And the mix the party pup recorded for Kiosk fully backs this up, taking us on a whirlwind tour around all varieties of UK garage and breaks, finishing with Gabriel Guerra aka Sérgio aka the boss of 40% Foda/Maneiríssimo’s insane Linkin Park-sampling ‘Fantabobi’, which I recently dropped at Adonis in London.

This Is Not An EP by DJ Doggo and fellow Portuguese party starter Diogo is the ninth entry in the Welt Discos catalogue and is distributed by One Eye Witness. You can find it on bandcamp or in physical stores now. All four tunes have been doing the business for me, and I hope they do the same for you!
