My debut novel Aether and Ego is out today!

I am partying tonight at Trident Booksellers & Cafe in Halifax and hope those of you who are local will join me.

Signed bookplates (to paste inside the book) for American folks who ordered through Bookshop and sent me their mailing addresses have gone out and hopefully the post won’t be too slow. I still have about 20 bookplates left if anybody still wants one! (Folks in Canada who want a signed copy should order through Bookmark Halifax and be sure to mention you’d like it signed.)

I am discovering that, for me, publishing comes with a mix of excitement and joy and some negative emotions (anxiety and self-doubt, mainly) but that those are centered around promotion and selling selling selling (one of several reasons I don’t self-publish). Today I am riding an absolute high of excitement. It’s such a privilege to get to do this. Thanks for being in it with me.
