Finding Renée Richards came out Aug. 18, and it’s been an eventful month since!

I’ve done four super fun talks so far — in Queens; Brooklyn; Portland, Maine; and Boston. Thanks to everyone who came out or told a friend. If you missed them, check out my launch event conversation with Giri Nathan on Defector.

The book has been written up in outlets including The New York Times, CNN, and USA Today. Plus, Slate ran an excerpt. I’ve also gone on a bunch of cool podcasts, including Sarah Spain’s Good Game.

So what’s next? I’ve got a virtual craft talk with the New School this Tuesday that anyone can attend. On Sunday, Oct. 4, I’ll be in New Haven, Connecticut, for an event at the bookstore Possible Futures. Please come say hi! This is a cool thing in part because New Haven is home to Yale, where Renée spent her undergrad years. On Thursday, Oct. 15, I’ll be doing a virtual event specifically for paid subscribers to sports journalist Frankie de la Cretaz’s excellent newsletter, Out of Your League.
