This summer has seen God consistently bless Redemption Hill!
UPDATES
July Sports Camp - Redemption Hill had our second sports camp of the summer in late July. Along with our partner churches, we taught the kids how to play flag football, soccer, volleyball, and pickleball. I ran registration and got to share the gospel with 55 kids!
Witnessing Wednesday - I, along with Pastor Josh and our intern Curtis, visited the homes of dozens of the families we met this summer. We brought a small gift, invited them to church, and were able to share the gospel.
Look how much our church family has grown! This is a group picture from Redemption Hill's 2024 summer picnic. Sunday Morning Growth - By God’s grace, Redemption Hill’s Sunday morning attendance has grown. Over the past month, we have averaged 70 people in attendance (almost triple what we had in 2021!). We have had guests visit consistently all summer. And as of the day I wrote this, we are concluding another new member’s class!
FAMILY UPDATE
Sarah started school again in August. She is teaching AP Environmental Science and Honors Biology.
JJ is growing so big! He is 9 months old and is crawling. He now says “da-da” and “bye-bye” (and waves!).
PRAYER REQUESTS
Trick or Treat Trail - RHC participates in our township’s fall event. This allows us to interact with and invite hundreds of families in our community to church. Please pray that God would use these conversations for his glory and bring new people to church.
“Joy to the World” Christmas Outreach - We are beginning to plan our Christmas outreach to kids and families. Pray that the logistics would be smooth and that God would bring families that we meet at the outreach to church.
Family -
Pray for Sarah as the school year continues. Pray for her endurance and patience with the students.
Pray for both of us as JJ is in a sleep regression and is waking up more in the middle of the night. Pray that we would “run our race with endurance, setting our eyes on Jesus, the founder and perfector of our faith.”
