Summer Outreach and Obedience - Jimmy Angel in Columbus, Ohio
It’s summer! I hope you all have a great 4th of July and enjoy the warm weather (though I know some of you have had the warmth longer than we have in Ohio!). The Lord has been working faithfully this spring and summer at Redemption Hill Church.
June Sports Camp - Redemption Hill had a sports camp for elementary school students in a local park. Pastor Josh and I spent the summer strategizing and ensuring the logistics were in order. We were blessed to partner with a team from Park Baptist Church of Rock Hill, SC. Pastor Josh and I got to share the gospel with 100+ kids over the course of the week.
June Block Party - At the end of the week of sports camp, Redemption Hill held a community block party. Three-hundred and seventy-five people attended! I got to share the gospel with our guests and invite them to church. We have seen visitors come to church who met us through our summer events.
Pastor Josh baptizing Chris. Baptisms - In May, Chris and Kayne were baptized. These men’s obedience to the Lord’s through believer’s baptism was encouraging. The next week, Chris, Kayne and their respective families became members of Redemption Hill. We now have over twice as many adult members as when we began meeting on Sundays in 2021!

JJ Update
JJ is doing great! He will be 6 months old on July 10. He is sleeping really well (10-12 hours/night), which is a massive blessing. Though he is not crawling yet, he is rolling and starting to “practice” crawling by moving his arms and legs. He is smiley, loves people and likes “talking” to Sarah and I, other babies and the cats.
Prayer Requests
Pray for Redemption Hill’s July sports camp and block party. This will be the second of the summer and we are experimenting with a different time of day and location than the first. Pray that the Lord would bless these efforts with visitors and gospel transformation.
Pray for Pastor Josh and I as we follow up with visitors from the June events. We are going to the doors of those who came with a small gift that includes a gospel tract. We also try to share the gospel and invite the family to church.
Sarah and JJ! Pray for Sarah and I as we continue our parenting journey. JJ is starting to teethe, so prayers for patience and endurance are appreciated. Pray also that we would transition well to his mobile stage.
