An Exciting 2024 Awaits!

Hi Friends and Family,
I hope you had a worshipful Christmas and a happy New Year. Sarah and I are excited to meet baby JJ in the next few weeks! He's due on January 17. As we celebrate what 2024 has in store, let's look back on what God did through our ministry at Redemption Hill Church this fall.

Trick or Treat Trail: Redemption Hill served at Prairie Township's "Trick or Treat Trail". Our church set up a Mario-themed photo booth. While families were waiting to take pictures with Mario and Luigi, RHC members started conversations with hundreds of families to build relationships and invite them to church. I helped plan the event, purchase supplies, and ensure our church's volunteers had the training and resources to effectively love the kids and families of our community.

Joy to the World - Christmas Party for Kids: RHC hosted a Christmas party for kids and parents in our community. We got to read the Christmas story to 50+ kids, most of whom are not churched. Our members also got to build relationships with people in our community and invite them to join us for our Christmas series. It was my joy to recruit and train our members so they could make friends and start gospel conversations.
New Members: Redemption Hill added three new members in December! We are very excited to have them as part of our church family. We now have 27 members and several more are about to begin the new members' class.
PRAYER REQUESTS
Sarah and Baby JJ - Pray for these last few weeks of pregnancy as Sarah's nausea has returned and her feet are swelling. Pray for a safe delivery and for JJ to be healthy.
Good Friday and Easter
Pray for Redemption Hill as we plan for our Good Friday and Easter services. Pray that God would bring unsaved and unchurched people to hear the gospel.
Also, pray for our "He is Risen" party for kids and families. Pray that we would connect with and share the gospel with lots of people in our community who don't know Jesus.
In Christ,
Jimmy Angel
