From Private to Public Experiments

Sunday Notes

Hey friends,

For years, I treated life like a private laboratory. Failed businesses, relationship struggles, and dreams filed away in isolation. I avoided vulnerability, and with it, the chance for deeper learning.

The Curiosity Experiment

This sparked my boldest experiment yet: what if I shared my experiments while they're messy and unfolding? My hypothesis: making my journey public creates accountability and unexpected connections. The first test? Transforming my adventures into visual stories that invite others to experiment.

I launched my YouTube channel. Filming didn't just document my experiments, it transformed them. I gained clarity on integrating my interests: technology, nature, and human connection.

The First Test

My first video explores the question that transformed my approach to life: "What if you treated your life like a series of tiny experiments?" From college rejections to Arctic living, each "failure" became a stepping stone to deeper understanding.

Your Turn to Experiment

I'm documenting these experiments for you to design better ones. Want to join? Start here:

  1. Watch the video (youtube.com/@jessegabel).

  2. Consider: What's one small experiment you could run this week?

  3. Subscribe to follow future experiments.

I'd appreciate your feedback to help shape future videos.

Until next Sunday,
Jesse
