I’ve been trying to balance client work with exploring my own projects. It is much harder than I would have thought.
My best work seems to happen when I know I don’t have anything else coming up that needs my attention.
So even if I only work 3h, but the day is free. It’s not the same as having an 3-4h slot in which to work.
How do you do it?
Still I’ve managed to start season 5 of the All-Design podcast. Record a second week of design reviews for Armchair Safari. And sent out Find Insight to another trial customer (let me know if you’re doing user research!)
