Did you know you might need an offshore company?

This week I realised I might need to set up an offshore company just to be compliant with taxes while I’m moving around.

I’m originally from Sweden, currently in Germany, and planning on moving on to Portugal or Italy.

It turns out that in Sweden you cannot own a corporation without having a board member with a physical address in the country.

Many countries still seem to cling to the idea that people should buy a house and live there for ever. But is that really something we will do in the future? I very much doubt that.
