Experimenting with a new format. Instead of an essay, I'm sharing my entrepreneurial progress and what I've published and read in the past week. Is it more or less interesting to you?
Progress
I recently rebooted BlankPage.email as an inspirational email for writers.
- Reactivating 16700 users went terribly though.
- Only about 12000 emails turned out to be valid.
- Of those only about 8000 opened the email.
- And out of those only 250 signed up...
I'll have another chance at 4k of them that didn't open, but awful result so far.
Reading
Interesting lesson from "Creativity Inc" by Ed Cartmul: teams work faster do better. Those who overthink are often wrong as much as fast movers. The difference is fast teams can turn quicker, not too attached to first ideas.
