Jeremy's Buttondown Newsletter

In service of being more informative and less annoying, I (Jeremy Whitley) have made it my mission to start a newsletter where I can share information about upcoming books, events, solicitations, crowd-funding events, podcasts, and even share a few exciting details about upcoming projects now and then! Buttondown here was recommended to me by the always amazing Greg Pak, so I am giving it a shot.

Hopefully this will mean I share more about things that are happening. Definitely this will mean fewer scattershot emails across half a dozen self-made mailing lists. So, if you’re here and want to be, WELCOME! If somehow you made it here and you don’t want to be, feel free to unsubscribe, you won’t hurt my feelings.

Exciting News!

1) Navigating with You has been nominated for two incredibly exciting and prestigious awards - the Harveys and the Ringos! They are both open for voting right now to anyone who is a comics pro and/or librarian. If that’s you, you can go vote for them right now, right here:

Harveys: https://www.harveyawards.com/en-us/about/news/harvey-awards-unveil-2025-nominees.html

Ringos: https://ringoawards.com/

We would love to have your support.

2) Strange Tales

My new mini-series from Marvel Comics has been announced! You can preorder it now for release in October. It’s called “Strange Tales”. It is written by me, illustrated by the amazing Bayleigh Underwood, and features some of the spookier side of the Marvel Universe!

The Bayleigh Underwood cover to Strange Tales #1, available this October. It features Nico Minoru and The Scarlet Witch fighting a swarm of terrifying fantasy creatures while standing on a giant twenty sided die.

When a Halloween table-top RPG session goes awry, Nico Minoru loses contact with her girlfriend Karolina Dean and her friends Billy Kaplan and Teddy Altman. In a last ditch attempt to save her, Billy sends Nico to his mother, Wanda Maximoff - The Scarlet Witch. Now it’s up to Nico and Wanda to find out what happened to Billy, Teddy, and Karolina. However, when it turns out to just be one part of a much larger conspiracy, they’re going to need help to save the world from a gathered group of villains with a mysterious motivation.

This series has been a ton of fun to write and has a lot of surprise guest stars coming up! We hope you join us for it!
