First, I promise this won’t become a weekly thing!

We are just in the midst of my first ever Zoop campaign and trying to make new original comics! After one week, we’re already more than halfway there, but there is still a lot of ground to cover.

Halfway there

If you haven’t seen, we are producing a double-feature flip book, with “SLAY!” by myself, Alex Smith, and Kelly Fitzpatrick on one side and “The Girlfriend Survives” by myself, Luc Nakashoji, and Jamie Noguchi on the other side. One half fantasy horror western, one half superhero meta-mystery, all independent comics.

We jumped out to an early start this week, but the back half of crowdfunding campaigns is notoriously the more difficult part, so we still need to make a push to get it done!

If you have already contributed, THANK YOU! If you haven’t, we’d still love to have you! If you can’t, we’d still really appreciate any sharing of the campaign you can do.

If you have backed us or haven’t and there is something we could add that would make you want to back the program more, please let me know! This is a first for me and I am open to suggestion!

The Girlfriend Survives

The art team is currently putting the finishing touches on colors for The Girlfriend Survives and I wanted to share a few of the newly colored pages with you all! They’re not lettered yet and we won’t spoil things, but I thought you might love to see Luc’s beautiful pencils/inks synched up with Jamie’s astonishing colors as our girlfriend and her superhero connect for the first time.
