Eat This Podcast: What is agriculture for, really?

A watercolour by S.R. Badmin of a scene over the Wiltshire Downs, in about 1950, showing the kind of diverse, small farm we should strive for.

Hello

Colin Tudge has been writing about food and farming for a long time in a series of thought-provoking books. His latest is The Great Re-Think, which sets out the steps needed to get to where he (and many other people) think we ought to be. The start, though, is to really think about what it is that we want our food system to provide.

We talked about that, and a bit more besides, in the latest episode of Eat This Podcast.

I hope you will listen, and let know whether you think it is pie in the sky, or meat and drink.

All the best

Jeremy
