Eat This Podcast: Not car sharing, cow sharing
Hello
In some cities, you can download an app to your phone that gives you access to a car, yours to drive for a flat fee per minute. Something similar is now going on in the European Alps, where you can buy a share in a cow. Unlike car sharing, when you buy a share in a cow, you are not free to drive her wherever you want. So what, actually, are you sharing?
That's the question that intrigued Katharina Gugerell and her colleagues, who looked in detail at around 60 cow sharing schemes. What did they find. Take a listen.
All the best
Jeremy
p.s. This is probably the last episode of the year, so I send best wishes and hope to be back in your ears early in January. Why probably? Because I have some exciting news on the porridge-stirring front, which may turn into a microcast as well as a written piece. Either way, you'll read about it in Eat This Newsletter.
