I was pleasantly surprised to get an email recently from an intriguing address: careme.co.nz. Naturally, I had to investigate further, and what I found was Jo Crabb, who teaches cooking in Martinborough, a small town about an hour from Wellington. I wanted to know how the pandemic had affected her, how she got into cooking, and why Carême.
