We’ve spent a bunch of time thinking and talking about how we can get artificial intelligence to write code for us. And that’s what I see most “vibe coding” projects look like. Greenfield, new ideas.

But there are lots of times where we don’t have the luxury of starting a new project. Something is broken (or we broke something.). Maybe AI misunderstood a requirement, or a field name, or an API endpoint. In any case, we need to fix something that is broken. We’re getting errors in our logs, and we need a fix.

I’m finding that more and more, the answer to all of life’s problems isn’t the number 42. It’s “ask your agent.”
