There is nothing I love more than starting a new coding session with AI each day. Free from the memory of anything we have ever done previously, it’s a brand-new world.

After a few hours, however, it’s starkly different. We’ve been through some things, and despite my insistence on following rules, my agent just doesn’t seem to be vibing with me anymore. It feels more like a fight than progress.

With the roughest of estimation, I try to evaluate how we’re still doing after 30 interactions, and make a decision on whether or not to insist on a new focus.
