new year:

2023 was one for the books. let's close that book and move on. On Sunday the 7th, I am facilitating what I hope to be the first of many Relaxing Gong Meditation sessions at Vergennes Movement in downtown Vergennes, Vermont. While I have facilitated sessions before (once at River Rock Treatment Center, and twice for members of the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington) this will be my first open-to-the-public session. It is pay-what-you-can and NOTAFLOF.

2024:

I have an album called Settled in the Head done- i'm planning on shopping it around to some labels. if you hear of anyone who wants to release some experimental gong music let me know. I plan on submitting pieces to as many Bandcamp net label compilations as I can this year. I also have plans to record a seasonal, sight specific series of washboard recordings (winter, spring, summer, fall, playing with random items i find on my hike to whatever location). I have past recordings with Gahlord Dewald & Leilehua Lanzilotti and RJ Myato that I hope see the light of day. as always i will be out there, listening deeply.

April:

I am stepping back from hosting any events for the first quarter of the year. In April, I am hosting two shows at the Community of Sound in Burlington (both featuring extremely talented and creative touring instrumentalists) as well as returning to Providence RI and debuting in Willimantic CT. More info to come.
