down to the wire (r/l/D #6)
Words:
None of what I do- be it music, art, work, play, life- would be possible without the unwavering support of my wife/partner/spouse/better half Rose. Today is her birthday. I try to let her know through deeds & actions how much she means to me daily- sometimes it doesn't work (but she knows). Everyone please think of her today.
My Music:
On Feb 10th my first release of the year dropped on MuteAnt Sounds Netlabel. Sound is a Body is 4 pieces (actually 3 pieces & 1 "remix") for tongue drum, bottle caps & effects. Jay Blanchard helped me record/engineer it, and I think it came out pretty good. https://muteantsoundsnetlabel.bandcamp.com/album/sound-is-a-body
What do the critics say? "The tinkling and shuffling around of these unique instruments and the stark minimalism of these bizarre performances makes for an enticing and spellbinding listening experience, and a powerful display of free-form improvisation."- Audio Crackle
I'm playing 2 shows throughout New England at the end of March/1st of April. See the info below.

Reading:
Jo Bled was mentioned in the Wire!
This was very exciting for me. I have read the Wire for years, and it does an excellent job of covering this underground and "weird" music I create. I do not have a direct link, but here it is:
