2026 Shows (so far- & 1 disappointment)

My two shows in March in Toronto were wonderful. There was an amazing scene, many folks came to both performances, and I lucked into a Persian New Year celebration and some amazing Tibetan food. My first state-side show happens at the Oddfellows Temple in the New North End of Burlington in 2 weeks. I am debuting a new piece tentatively called “Preparation IX: Commentary on the Psalms.”

Disappointment: In my last newsletter, I alluded to an opportunity to play at a Canadian music fest. My proposal to perform at the Electric Eclectics Festival (called “Canada’s weirdest music festival") was accepted, and I was over the moon excited. Unfortunately, after receiving only 50% of the funding they have enjoyed for over 20 years, the festival had to be canceled. I was gutted. But, as they say, when a door closes…some other shit opens. Apparently. We shall see.
