Mid-June Catch-Up!

Keeping my promise to try out shorter newsletters a couple times a month instead of just one massive one 😄 I also wanted to share about an exciting project going on that some of you might be interested in: the Fat Artist Network!
The Fat Artist Network (FAN) is modeled in part after the marginalized cartoonist databases created by Mari Naomi and meant to serve as a directory for finding fat artists and connecting fat professionals within the arts. There are a few of us working on this together at the moment, and we'd love some extra hands!
Our next meeting is on Tuesday, June 20th at 8 PM ET. If you're a fat artist and you'd like to attend, send an email to Jacq (they/them) at fatartistnetwork@gmail.com and fill out this Google Form by Monday, June 19th. If you can't make it that day, still send Jacq an email to get on the mailing list for getting involved anyway!
If you'd like to support FAN as a straight-sized person or can't get involved right now, you can sign up for a notification for the launch in August, follow FAN on Instagram, and spread the news!
