Dad Things - Issue #35
I don't have too much to write here to start off. It's Sunday night, August 21st and today was the last day of summer vacation. I'm just enjoying tonight and preparing for the return of hectic morning routines.
Tonight, we put to bed a 1st grader and an 8th grader. Tomorrow we'll have a 2nd grader and a 9th grader. Time, it flies.

I praise her for being able to figure things out. I praise for trying things she was afraid of. I praise her for basically going out of her comfort zone and saying "You did it anyways"...I'm trying to instill in her that she can figure anything out.
This is great. MUCH better than just saying "Good job" at anything my kids do. You can listen to the full episode here.
