Brighton’s newest alternative comedy, music, and musical comedy night

Free on 2nd February? Come along to This Machine Kills Wasps, a new, alternative music /comedy / musical comedy night in central Brighton.

I am super excited but also terrified, like every promoter ever. What if no one turns up? What it’s literally just me, and the acts, and tumbleweeds?

And the answer, of course, is even then it’ll be fine. I’ll just charge the tumbleweeds a fiver each.

Walthamstow Wassail 2023

In the depths of winter, we make folk traditions to remind us that the ground will not be frozen forever, and that spring and good times will come around again.

Wassailing is part of that, and I returned to Walthamstow to remind myself of the cyclical nature of time. And also to sing at some bees.
