I’m launching a new music / comedy / musical comedy night at the gorgeous Folklore Rooms in Brighton next month.
The venue is above The Quadrant pub on North Street, and is the nicest, best-dressed room in the city. It’s also a mere 5 minute walk from the station, should you be inclined to come down for it from That London.

Brighton’s newest alternative comedy, music, and musical comedy night
I will be MCing, Sharlin and Selena are both amazing, and there are other exciting acts booked who I am not allowed to tell you about yet.
The idea of doing a music AND comedy night is one close to my heart, and if this launch night is a success I’ll make it bi-monthly (as in, every two months). So please do come down and bring all your best friends and enemies along.
The name, if you were wondering, comes from a Half Man Half Biscuit sleeve joke from 2005 via, of course, Woody Guthrie. No wasps were harmed in the making of this event.
Sketch-Off Heats - 24th and 31st January
I am performing in this year’s sketch-off competition at The Museum Of Comedy!
I’m performing with Horse Passports on the 24th and Owl Bag on the 31st - ticket links below. I’ve seen the line-ups for both heats and there are some great acts on both bills - so us horses* and owls** will have to be at the top of our sketch comedy games to reach the next round.
