Sketch! Stand Up! Fictional Owls!
Hi comrades! Welcome to the latest edition of my exciting email newsletter, arriving to a spam folder near you on a fairly regular basis.
We did a gig in Bristol and are performing at the Leicester Comedy Festival!
My sketch collective Next Level Sketch did a show in Bristol on Saturday night at the beautiful Bristol Improv Theatre, as part of the “Up The Antics” night of stand up, sketch and improv. It was a sell out show, the biggest audience we’ve ever performed to, and our cast absolutely rocked it.
The sound of over a hundred people collectively losing their shit to a very stupid visual gag in our opening sketch is something I’ll never forget, and the energy for the rest of the show was incredible. Thank you so much to everyone involved with Next Level Sketch for their part in making this crazy dream a reality.
We’re performing in Leicester as part of the Leicester Comedy Festival TONIGHT and TOMORROW, and you or your eccentric East Midlands aunt are very welcome to attend.
THEN we are heading to the MIDLANDS for two shows as part of the @LeicsComedyFest. Please tell all your midland friends to come along, even if they’re from the imaginary county of Rutland. Poster by @isnadinehere pic.twitter.com/PPld5iTPKP

Please come along to this if you can - the line-up is unreal. Our latest special guest is the fabulous Sian Docksey, joining such luminaries as Isy Suttie, Richard Vranch, and Charlie Vero-Martin. And me!!
That’s it for this week. My phone has died so I might be communicating entirely by newsletter for the foreseeable future. Sorry about that.
Love,
