It’s hard to be an anteater at Christmas
It’s 4am, it’s freezing, and the birds are singing. The dawn has never felt further away.
Definitely the ideal time to send a newsletter.
Well tonight thank god it’s them (anteaters) instead of you
Wednesday was the final Next Level Sketch of the year, and the best one we’ve ever done. All the cool kids are saying it, not just me, so it must be true.
I’m so lucky to have met so many brilliant people through sketch comedy, and a good number of them were there on Wednesday to see me host and ask the, to fill charity buckets full of ants.

Trigger warning: this post is about an episode of horrendous car violence, the aftermath of which I witnessed and needed a full weekend to recover from.

An invisible pandemic of death and violence – jamesofwalsh
Trigger warning: below is a fairly graphic account of a car driving into children. On Friday afternoon, I was heading to The Miller in London Bridge to put up posters for our show on Wednesday. App…
Cycling in Paris
In happier news, Paris is great for cycling. All councillors in London and other British cities should take the ferry over and see what bold action in a climate emergency looks like.

Cycling in Paris is much better than cycling in London – jamesofwalsh
In 2020, Cyclist magazine wrote of London and Paris mayors both seeking re-election; and both talking a good game on their plans to revolutionise active travel in their respective capitals. Even th…
That’s it from me for this morning. Good night.
Cycling in Paris is better than cycling in London
A few Sundays ago, I cycled around Paris
