Factually Inaccurate on Monday 13th December at The Miller!
Greetings loyal subscribers,
This week Next Level Sketch happened! And I was in an improv show playing a director! It went ok! And there was an audition I bombed! And this is a lot of exclamation marks!

Next Level Sketch and IMDp – jamesofwalsh
Hello! Join me on a journey through time, as I write a rambling, diary-style blog post. Its intention is to remind whatever future version of me that might exist that these things happened. YouR…
I only have TWO MORE SHOWS of 2021 unless something terrible happens. Nothing terrible will happen. Will it?
The first one is next Wednesday, a showcase of my Level 2 Stand-Up course with Nick Hall.
Some of you may remember me doing the online version of this earlier this year, wearing sunglasses, talking about anxiety and depression, and failing to direct my face towards the actual screen. Well I'm DOING IT ALL AGAIN, but this time in a pub not on Zoom, and I've memorised my lines this time. Some of them.
I am HEADLINING.
We're trying to keep numbers manageable this year but if you're free on the 8th December and don't mind laughing in Aldgate, get in touch.
Factually Inaccurate Stand-Up!
The second and last show of the year is hosting Factually Inaccurate at The Miller in London Bridge. Tickets are available below. We have a fantastic line-up, songs, special guests, and socially distanced cabaret-style tables and seating for those glancing nervously at the latest variant. Please come along if you can - support the arts! And when I say the arts, I mean, specifically, me!
Factually Inaccurate Stand Up: Charlie George, Ale Tickets, Mon 13 Dec 2021 at 20:00 | Eventbrite
Funny lectures, stand up and character comedy with special guests Camilla Borges, Rebekka Turner, Alex Bertulis-Fernandes and Charlie George
I'll be more reflective about it after we get through our last 2021 gig, but Factually Inaccurate has been such a wonderful world to build. All the guests we've invited have said they want to come back, which is testament to the lovely warm atmosphere, extremely badly explained remit, and the fact that we actually pay our acts. Myself and Maddi would be super honoured if you came along and did some laughing noises with your face.
Reviews!
I've been trying to get back to the world of doing things then writing about them. There are links to a few shows and films I've seen recently below. If you subscribe to my blog, you will get these delivered to your inbox directly, but that won't stop me also writing a newsletter to tell you about them. I absolutely cannot be stopped.

REVIEW: Alternative Comedy Memorial Society (ACMS), Signature Brew, Haggerston – jamesofwalsh
Thom Tuck’s reign of terror is over. With the traditional ACMS host trapped in the midlands doing some acting, Joz Norris and [ok, other regular host] Siân Docksey have enacted a bloodless co…

Thank you!
I hope everyone has a lovely Xmas period. I will try and write at least one more email before Santa arrives and starts killing everyone (at least, this is what happens in Futurama...)
