Brighton Folk Choir on t’radio / Trust Us, We’re Doctors! / Next Level Sketch’s April Show
Hello! I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter Weekend, filled with rampaging rabbits, symbolic eggs, and chocolate Jesus.
Shows!!!
I have two main plugs for you this month. This Wednesday 12th April, please come to the Bill Murray in Islington for Trust Us, We’re Doctors! It’s hosted by Stefania Licari and features four - FOUR - comedians who also happen to be medical professionals. It’s going to be a fab show and I’d love to see you there.
Then, on Wednesday 26th April, my sketch group Next Level Sketch are putting on our first show since February. We’ve written lots of awesome new material, and we’ve got a fab lineup of sketch, music, and character comedians (and at least one clown).
Listen to me sing on the radio!
I joined a folk choir in January, and last week we did our first live radio session of the year. It was on Mid Sussex Radio, and we sang a bunch of songs about all the important topics (eggs, beer, going to sea, that kind of thing). You can listen back to the session below - and read my write-up of the experience on t’blog. Listen out for the bit where I accidentally switch the light in the studio off; a seminal moment in radio history.

I went to see Ai Wei Wei’s exhibition at The Design Museum, which was very thought provoking.
