A Farewell to New Malden

Hello everyone! James here with his letter full of news. Buckle up, it’s sure to be a thrill-filled ride!

A farewell to New Malden

On 10th April I’m finally departing New Malden, saying goodbye to a 60 year family association and a small spaniel. The spaniel belongs to the son of two legendary folk musicians - one of whom fled McCarthyism in the 1950s but still has a very distinctive American accent - but Kenzo cares not for this. She is more of a jazz fan.

Expect New Malden related posts and some nostalgia over the next few weeks. I’m in the process of compiling my “Seven Wonders” of this singular suburb. Any suggestions for what should be included, do get in touch.

Next Level Sketch on Tuesday 29th March

Due to dog sitting and putting things in boxes, I won’t be performing at this show, but I hope to be in the audience - come along! We’ve got some fantastic new sketches and both of these special guests will be fabulous. Julia Masli is one of the funniest clowns I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot of clowns of late.
