We’re looking forward to meeting you at JMC’s Colloquium on Friday, Aug. 28 at 9 a.m. (and the Student Org & Resource Fair in Case Hall later that day).
Starting college can bring a mix of excitement, questions and nerves, but you do not need to have everything figured out before you arrive. As you prepare for your first semester at James Madison College, we want to make sure you know where to turn for information and support:
Student Resources: Our Case Hall resource page brings together information about academic advising, the Writing Center, Career Services, MSU counseling services and other resources available to you.
Families & Loved Ones: We have a similar resource page for the loved ones who are supporting you from home. You may find it helpful to share this page with the people who will be part of your support system throughout college. They can also subscribe to our quarterly newsletter, which includes important dates, deadlines and updates for families and supporters of current students.
You will have many opportunities to learn more and ask questions once you arrive. For now, you can find more information about navigating your first few weeks at JMC on our website.
One last thing: Our fall pop-up shop is now live! Purchase JMC apparel online between now and Sept. 15.
