Internship Spotlight: Jane Swartz
Jane Swartz is a JMC senior majoring in Social Relations and Policy with minors in Public Relations and History.

“This summer, I was an Events and Learning Design intern at the Feeding America National Office. This team works to put on conferences for food bankers across the country and expand the shared knowledge and resources of the Feeding America network. My internship lined up with the Sourcing, Operations, and Neighbor Access conference in Dallas, where I managed sessions and created a new program. I also worked with the Member Engagement team to create a resource for food banks to follow health and safety standards, and the Learning team to create a new database of consultants.”
Learn more about JMC’s field experience requirement on the JMC website. Students interested in planning their internship can connect with JMC Field Experience Coordinator Lauren Michalak (schedule an appointment with her via student.msu.edu).
