Michigan Department of Corrections Student Assistant
This position will perform a full range of administrative support functions to support the responsibilities of the Offender Success Administration. Hal and Jean Glassen Scholars Program 
Are you interested in natural resources, conservation and public policy? Applications for the Hal and Jean Glassen Scholars program are now open! Students will be placed with a natural resource-related agency or organization in the Greater Lansing area while enrolled in ANR 491: Special Topics in Agriculture and Natural Resources. Fireside Chat with Former Ukrainian Ambassador Bridget Brink
Nov. 11, 5:30 p.m. in Club Spartan (338 Case Hall). Bridget Brink, the former Ambassador of Ukraine whose career spans nearly three decades of service under both Republican and Democratic administrations, will share the personal and professional lessons learned from a life devoted to international service, as well as insights into Ukraine’s ongoing fight for sovereignty and democracy. Learn more via JMC

Law School & Legal Career Panel

Funding Opportunities

Phi Beta Kappa Public Service Scholarship 
In recognition of the Society’s 250th anniversary in 2026, 20 undergraduate scholars will receive a $7,600 academic scholarship and participate in an educational conference experience that highlights pathways into local, state, and federal government work. This scholarship is open to current sophomores, juniors or seniors who will take courses in the next academic year. Membership in the Phi Beta Kappa Society is not required for this scholarship. Apply by Jan. 20 via Handshake.

Internship Spotlight: Ethan Czaja

Ethan is a senior majoring in International Relations and minoring in History and Russian. Learn about his internship below!

“This semester, I had the opportunity to research hybrid warfare under the guidance of practitioners at The Institute of World Politics, and to network with the professionals working in my desired field. I have strengthened my open-source intelligence research abilities and refined my analytical approach to assessing hybrid threats and international security developments. I also gained experience in policy analysis and improved my ability to structure concise, well-supported policy memoranda that translate complex findings into actionable insights. My favorite part of the experience is giving policy briefings to staff and peers that foster informed discussions about current events in national security, as well as collaborating with a cohort of accomplished interns who bring diverse perspectives to our work.”
