Career Services Internship Opportunity Award
The MSU Career Services Internship Opportunity Award program is now accepting applications. Any undergraduate student who is actively pursuing, or has secured, an unpaid summer internship is welcome to apply. While preference will be given based on financial need and other considerations, internship locations anywhere in the U.S. are eligible. Apply by April 6. MDARD Internship Marketing Internships Opportunity
This Lansing-based paid internship with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will run May 12-Aug. 29, 2025 (option for hybrid work).
Provide assistance in organizing and planning international marketing activities to promote Michigan agricultural products to the world.

MSU College Advising Corps: College Advisor Opportunity
The MSU College Advising Corps (MSUCAC) is hiring for the 2025-26 cohort. MSU graduates and soon-to-be graduates can serve as college advisers in Michigan high schools, helping students transition to post-secondary education. Allen Neighborhood Center: Summer 2025 Paid Internships
Allen Neighborhood Center is a place-based, non-profit organization that serves as a hub for neighborhood revitalization and for activities that promote the health and well-being of Lansing’s Eastside community. Applications are now open (see opportunities below) for Summer 2025 internships. Each position will be 15 hours per week, and be paid at $10.33 only if the student qualifies for work study. If they don't qualify for work study, they will be paid a $650 stipend. Applications for all positions due March 16.
Community Farming Fellow: Great for students looking to work and learn about an all natural, sustainable, and local farm located directly in the heart of the Eastside community.
Community Engagement and Advocacy Fellow: Fellows will support our neighbors in a variety of ways, from signing them up for food stamps to providing information on affordable housing, to being their advocate when facing a challenge from a utility.
Event Coordination Fellow: Fellows will assist ANC Incubator and Accelerator Kitchen Managers with booking, invoicing, coordination and execution of events, and create and develop marketing content for Kitchen Program and public events.
Veggie Box Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Fellow: Fellows will assist in the development and promotion of Veggie Box, manage relationships with local farmers and members, and support other areas as needed.
Food Pantry and Farmers Market Fellowship: An excellent fit for those interested in food pantry and farmers market management, marketing, communications, community development and/or financials/bookkeeping.
Youth Programs Fellowship: Our Youth Programs are free, offer job and life skills experience, and provide gardening and nutrition education. Fellows assist with the running and development of the program, and must enjoy working with kids.
City of East Lansing: Placemaking Internship
Interested in planning, building and development? The City of East Lansing is seeking interns to fulfill their Placemaking Internship. This opportunity will provide experience in the areas of community engagement opportunities, infrastructure management, event management, assisting with innovative placemaking programing and more. With a salary of $15/hour, hours will vary weekly with approximately 20 hours worked per week starting May 5, 2025, through Aug. 29, 2025. Apply by March 21. City of East Lansing: Marketing and Advertising Internship
The City of East Lansing is seeking interns to fulfill their internship with the focus of promoting East Lansing’s downtown through various marketing and creative placemaking efforts. Interns in this position will work to assist the Downtown Management Board in developing and implementing strategies to market, advertise, and promote the downtown East Lansing area and businesses. Daniel Rosenthal Legislative Intern Award
Currently an intern with the Michigan Legislative (House or Senate) or have completed a Michigan Legislative Internship in the 2024 calendar year? Teach For America
Fall 2025 Ignite Fellowship: Ignite fellows lead a small group of virtual learning with the support of a veteran educator. This is a part-time fellowship as a tutor in elementary reading, middle school math, and high school college and career readiness. Individuals are expected to work 3-5 hours per week and receive up to $1,2000 for each term. Apply by April 30.
DREAM Project Fellowship
Ready to make a lasting impact while developing valuable professional skills? The DREAM Fellowship Program offers a unique opportunity to work in the Dominican Republic, empowering students and shaping communities. As a Fellow, you’ll engage in teaching, program development, and leadership while gaining hands-on experience in the non-profit sector. This year-long program provides an enriching way to grow both personally and professionally. The fellow term is set to start Aug. 11, 2025, through Aug. 7, 2026. Apply by June 15.
