Non-Profit and Government Career Fair 
Nov. 7, 3 to 6 p.m. in the MSU Union Ballroom. Calling all students interested in working for a non-profit or in the government sector. This fair is the perfect opportunity for students to network with employers in the non-profit and government sectors. You will have an opportunity to connect with employers in a career fair format. Launching a Career in the Federal Government 
Nov. 14, 6 to 7 p.m. virtually. This virtual information session is for students and recent graduates who are interested in public service opportunities. The Partnership’s Call to Serve team will share: entry-level government opportunities, including internship and fellowship programs, practical tips to navigate the federal hiring process and tools for effectively searching government jobs. Learn more via Partnership For Public Service Website

Roosevelt Undergraduate Fellowship Programs 
The Roosevelt Network develops and supports undergraduate college students and early career professionals — in particular, those who hold identities who have historically been denied political power — to be the next generation of leaders in the progressive policy ecosystem. VAW Global Team Development Internship
VAW Global Interns work closely with community partners to implement medical, dental, and veterinary clinics and global health projects across low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Legal Advocacy Internship: End Violent Encounters Inc.
The Legal Advocacy Intern works to provide information, support and technical assistance to individuals seeking Personal Protection Orders (PPO’s). They may also make appropriate referrals when necessary. The only experience requirement for this position is prior legal experience, whether that's from your major or past job/intern experience. The ideal candidate should have a passion for building advocacy skills to assist survivors of domestic violence. Demetrios G. Papademetriou Young Scholars Program
The Migration Policy Institute (MPI)  is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit think tank based in Washington, DC, and dedicated to the study of migration worldwide. MPI is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2024 cycle of its Demetrios G. Papademetriou Young Scholars Program. Remote and in-person internships available. Apply by: Nov. 1. PPIA Junior Summer Institute 
The goal of the PPIA Fellowship Program is to help prepare students to pursue master’s or joint degrees, typically in public policy, public administration, international affairs or a related field. The organization does this through the intensive study provided by participation in a Junior Summer Institute (JSI), through partnerships with universities across the country, and through an alumni network that provides opportunities to connect with nearly 4,000 individuals who share the same interest in public service. Spring 2025 Fellowships at Allen Neighborhood Center
Allen Neighborhood Center is a place-based, non-profit organization that serves as a hub for neighborhood revitalization and for activities that promote the health and well-being of Lansing’s Eastside community. Library of Congress: 2025 Junior Fellows Program 
The Library of Congress is seeking applicants for its next Junior Fellows Program, a summer internship held from May 19 through July 25, 2025. This 10-week, full-time paid internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students and recent graduates interested in learning and conducting research using resources of the largest library in the world. Federal Leaders in Public Service: 2025 Summer Internship Program 
This program helps bring diverse young talent from various disciplines into government, offering students the opportunity to apply their educational training to federal work. Apply by Nov. 22. Learn more via Go Government Website

JMC Education Abroad & Field Experience Scholarships
Applications for the JMC Education Abroad and Field Experience Scholarships are due in two weeks. Students who are participating in an education abroad program for Spring 2025 (including Winter Break programs) or are planning to do their field experience (internship for credit via MC 400/401) in Spring 2025 are eligible to apply.

The application deadline is Nov. 15 for both applications. You do not need to be accepted into an education abroad program or internship at the time of your application, but you need to list the programs/internships you've applied to. Scholarships will be awarded later in the fall semester and are contingent upon participation in an education abroad program (enrollment in program credits) or internship (enrollment in MC 400). Recipients are also expected to complete a Letter of Acknowledgement to the scholarship donor.
