The Worst Basketball Game I've Ever Been a Part Of
This is not how childhood dreams are supposed to go… At least, that’s what the movies taught me.
It’s supposed to be: have the dream, work hard, accomplished the dream, then happily ever after, right?
No one talks about all the work that will go in to making that dream something to be proud of. And this is exactly the situation that I’m in right now.
Our first two games of the season were horrible. To be fair, we improved as a team from one to the next, but it was still awful. Awful to play in, awful to watch, and awful to be reminded about every time I see someone in the streets that had attended.
Thankfully, my life isn’t determined by basketball anymore, and I have many other things going on. And this update will give you a taste of what my entire life has been like over the past few weeks.
