My Mom Came Back

This one means a lot to me. My mom came back to Albania for her second visit - and this time, the van worked, the weather cooperated (most of the time), and we finally got to explore some of the backroads I’ve always wanted to show her.

We spent quiet mornings in Pogradec, afternoons in the villages around Korce, and one beautiful drive to Guri Kamjes. It wasn’t a grand adventure - no epic mountains or wild camping - but it was special. The kind of trip that feels simple and complete.

It’s also a reminder of how far things have come since I moved here, and how grateful I am to be able to share this place with someone I love.
