Is my life boring?
I’m writing this update from a tiny village in the south German countryside. And when I say tiny, I’m not exaggerating…
I’m here for work, at a hotel that has been the life-blood of this village for a couple centuries. But this will all come in the next video, of course.
I actually have a video to share with you right now! An update of the past few weeks before I hopped on the 6am flight to Germany.
The weeks were standard for me - basketball, gym, walking around Pogradec. And the video has a lot of similar subject matter as many of my videos, so the struggle I run in to is how to title the video on YouTube.
There are obviously a bunch of YouTube guru that tell you how to title things to maximize clicks (and therefore ad revenue), but that’s something that I have never wanted to do. I typically take some of their advice and apply it to my own methodology.
My way of titling is trying to find something worthwhile in the video, mix it with some of the general input that the gurus might put in, and sprinkle a pinch of ChatGPT.
They don’t always perform well in terms of numbers, but I am always confident that the title applies to the video the viewer is about to watch. I want people to go into my videos knowing what to expect, not be tricked into opening it.
So, for this most recent video where I show the monotony of my life through visually interesting footage and an engaging voiceover, I decided to ask a question in the title.
Hopefully to build intrigue, but definitely to accurately portray how many people might view my life.
