Are you FUMBLING the bag?
What’s good?
I’ll tell you what is: 2 SEO emails in 2 days.
Because I fumbled and got my scheduling mixed up.
MY BAD. It happens. But we’re good now.
This leads me to the point of today’s email.
Too many businesses pay for good SEO, get great results, then FUMBLE THE BAG.
Like, they rank well and get lots of traffic…
But then they MUCK IT UP by:
being slow to respond to queries
making it difficult to be contacted
forgetting about the end user and making their website a mission to use
Case in point: I was looking for a courier to deliver from Dubai to Ajman.
Should be easy, right? NOPE. Not only were the ADS an absolute mess (irrelevant ads, businesses in ads that didn’t offer what I was looking for).
But the organic results were an absolute dog’s breakfast in a blender.
What a mission. Some businesses didn’t get back to me. Some forced me to open an account in order to get a quote.
And some just had trash websites that need to be destroyed.
SAD. Because they ranked well (page 1!) and had a NEW EAGER CUSTOMER ready to pay (me!). But they fumbled the bag and missed out on my order.
Don’t be like them.
Instead, think about what you want people to do on your site.
And then make that super bloody easy to do. Whatever it is.
DON’T FUMBLE THE BAG. Life is way too short. And we’re in a weird global economic meltdown. Every dinero counts!
You know it makes sense.
Peace,
Jaaved
